March 9, 2017 – It was a great evening at Air Asia RedQ where our founder of PowerShiftMalaysia, Adrian Yeo delivered a presentation on the topic “Are we serious about climate reality?” in conjunction with Air Asia Allstars #Green24 event.

The targeted audience for Kem Solusi can range as small from teenagers to working adults; which ultimately strive to building up a highly climate-change conscious community at the end of the day. To note, the team has been proactively spearheaded some of the workshop series t various secondary schools to educate the youngsters fundamentals on climate change issue and actively conducting session to share insights on roles of a responsible global citizen in climate change, by invitations from corporates.
You might be curious about what is #Green24 all about. #Green24 is a climate awareness movement to educate people and promote climate action, as part of the airline’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative throughout the Asean region. We hope to create tangible impact by inspiring action throughout communities across the region to promote climate action at home, at our workplaces, in cities and countries.
This initiative will be carried out throughout all the countries which the AirAsia Group serves, and the goals are to achieve an environmental outcome, educate the people around us and generate awareness on climate change. In Adrian’s presentation, he shared a story that enlightens the crowd where all of us are contributing to climate fluctuations, whether big or small, it makes an impact to the planet that we live in.
Climate change is real and it is happening now. Becoming more aware of how you use energy in daily life, and choosing to support companies that commit to taking climate action is the key to how you can help to build a brighter future for our planet. Your actions make a difference.
