This workshop centers around the Malaysian Constitution and how it affects our policies on climate change and how it affects Malaysia’s stance in UNFCCC on various issues. Adrian will delve into the details of conflicts between our constitution and attempts to implement climate change laws as well as the relationship between federal law and state law in this area

Trainer Profile:

ADRIAN YEO is a community organizer and an advocate for strengthening civil society. He is a participant of 350’org’s Global Power Shift, and founder of #PowerShiftMsia

He has been active in engaging local environment, energy and resource campaigns. In 2009 Adrian worked for YOUNGO as the Youth Logistics Coordinator at UNFCCC’s COP15 in Copenhagen, and actively participated at various UNFCCC meetings.
